Funding Priorities

Through grants to nonprofit organizations, we seek to support, preserve, and protect the dignity of those who find themselves on the edge of society. Through grants to advocacy groups, we seek to support compassionate and just public policies that address systemic inequities.

Specifically, through our grantmaking we seek to address:

  • Food Insecurity and Nutrition

  • Homelessness and Housing

  • Jobs and Economic Justice

  • Health Care and Family Services

  • Empowerment and Community Development

We prioritize nonprofit organizations with the following characteristics:

  • Responsive to the communities they seek to serve by having board members, elected leaders, and key staff members who reflect those communities.

  • Serve communities of Black, Indigenous and People of Color

  • Located in greater Seattle and serving people in King, Snohomish and Pierce counties.

We support non-profits with a current 501(c)3 IRS status.
